The Dirty Wookie 10K & 5K is a one-of-a-kind Halloween-themed running event taking over Downtown Reno!
Join thousands of runners and walkers—costumes encouraged!—for your choice of two unique courses. New for 2026, the 10K is Reno’s only point-to-point 10K, winding from Reno Running Company – Lakeside through Virginia Lake, West Reno, and Idlewild Park before finishing at J Resort’s Festival Grounds. The 5K starts and finishes at the Festival Grounds with a scenic loop through Idlewild Park.
And don’t forget the Dirty Wookie Costume Contest around 10:30 AM, where the crowd will help crown the best costume of the day!
